Motorola V500

The V500 is part of Motorola's upgraded V-series line of phones, which includes the V300 and V600. It is a slightly cut down version of the flagship V600, with Bluetooth, integrated camera, and quad-band functionality - so you can use the V500 on any GSM network in the world. The usual polyphonics, MMS, and Java are also supported.

The V500 will have an (unusually high-res) internal 65K color screen of 176x220 pixels and an external inverted color screen of 96x32 pixels.

The main difference between the V500 and V600 seems to be that the V500 is missing streaming video support, changeable covers and the multi-colored indicator.

Overall, the V500 looks like a very capable mid-to-high end phone, and should give the upcoming SonyEricsson Z600 a bit of competition.
