18th November 2003 - Swisscom Mobile, a provider of
mobile communications services in Switzerland, and End2End,
a European managed service provider for mobile data
services, today announced that Swisscom Mobile has selected
End2End’s Managed Service Solutions to power its
Vodafone live! content downloads.
End2End’s managed service Content Download Solution
is being used to deliver all Vodafone live! content
downloads in Switzerland. The solution is already powering
content downloads in over 20 countries, including existing
Vodafone live! services in countries such as Egypt and
the United Kingdom.
The Vodafone live! content, which includes polyphonic
ringtones, logos, colour wallpapers, and Java games,
is aggregated jointly by End2End and Swisscom Mobile.
Swisscom Mobile subscribers are able to browse and purchase
content via SMS, WAP and Web, which is then delivered
to their handsets.

strong partner for the Vodafone Group, which is why
we selected End2End as a partner for our download solution,”

Swisscom Mobile launched Vodafone live! on November
13, 2003, which makes Switzerland the 14th country to
launch Vodafone live! since October 2002. As of the
end of October 2003, Vodafone live! had over three million
subscribers.
