| 15th April 2004 - ip.access, the fast-growing Cambridge-based
provider of mobile GSM coverage solutions, has chosen
WebitPR to distribute and monitor its news to the worlds
online media throughout 2004.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of TTP Communications plc,
ip.access was formed in 1999 and has already won significant
business worldwide. It uses its technical expertise
to deliver GSM coverage and capacity solutions for the
worlds telecommunications network providers.
As a rapidly growing company, ip.access
communication programmes need to reflect our dynamic
and global markets. We have been very impressed by the
speed and quality of results achieved using WebitPRs
online distribution and monitoring service, said
Sandra Gilligan, Marketing Manager, ip.access.
WebitPR work will be managed for ip.access by the companys
appointed PR Agency, resonates SLM Ltd. Director Nicky
Davis said: ip.access is rapidly establishing
itself on the world stage and we recommended using WebitPR
as the most cost-effective way to maximise global online
coverage. With WebitPRs support, we look forward
to achieving more targeted and high-quality coverage
for our client in 2004.
Working with resonates and ip.access is the latest
success for WebitPR, which has shown consistent growth
since it was established three years ago. Specialising
in the telecommunications, IT and pharmaceutical sectors,
it has seen strong demand from the telecoms sector since
the end of 2003.
Marketing and communications professionals in
the telecoms and IT sectors have been through some very
difficult times and are now particularly focused on
value for money and the ability to access coverage as
soon as possible, said WebitPR Managing Director
Jonathan Dolby.
That is where WebitPR scores heavily, with prices
for distribution and monitoring, which is often lower
than the distribution-only charges of its competitors.
I also believe our monitoring beats anything else on
the market and we have always come out on top when assessed
against other solutions for the electronic media.
Winning ip.access comes only a month after WebitPR
announced a record take-up of its service at the 3GSM
World Congress in Cannes. During the show period, the
company issued nearly 100 releases on behalf of major
corporate clients and PR agencies. Its unique monitoring
capability allowed many of its clients to receive coverage
reports delivered directly to their stands within 24
hours of distribution.
