22nd July 2004 - PIKA Technologies has accepted an
invitation to speak at TMCs new VoIP Developer
Conference in San Jose, California, August 3-4, 2004.
David Clarkes session, Test Tools: How Do
You Load Test This Stuff? takes place on August
3 at 1:30 p.m. Having almost two decades of experience
in the computer telephony industry, PIKA Technologies
designs and manufactures innovative computer plug-in
voice cards and software that connect computer systems
to both TDM- and IP-based networks to provide advanced
voice services.
VoIP Developer Conference is a two-day event focused
on educating developers interested in building next
generation IP-based communications products and services.
The conference will be a rich combination of traditional
presentation-based sessions and actual demo sessions.
The goal is to provide developers new to IP telephony
with all the tools they need to begin developing applications
immediately. There are also many sessions designed to
ensure developers already involved with VoIP are current
with all standards and protocols.
As the IP-centric world has taken shape, we have
delivered and enhanced our VoIP capabilities,
said Terry Atwood, Vice President, Sales, Marketing
and Customer Care. David Clarke has been helping
our developer customers for more than ten years to design
sophisticated telephony services. Attendees will benefit
from his knowledge as well as the expertise of the many
speakers scheduled to present at the VoIP Developer
Conference.
We are very pleased that David Clarke will be
participating in this first VoIP Developer Conference.
PIKA Technologies is widely recognized and respected
in the industry, and I am confident that our attendees
will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his
perspective on measuring VoIP quality and network performance,
said TMC president and conference co-chair, Rich Tehrani.
Tehrani continued, In the last few years there
has been an explosion of growth in the IP telephony
market and investment in this space has grown tremendously
once again. The opportunities in IP telephony continue
to multiply as the government, consumers, corporations
and service providers all begin to deploy the latest
IP telephony solutions.
This is the one event that every developer and program
manager in the communications space needs to attend
in order to learn the state of the market as well as
the future of VoIP and the development opportunities
it affords them, concluded Tehrani.
Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested
may register by phone, 1-203-852-6800, extension 146
or by visiting http://www.voipdeveloper.com.
