25th October 2004 - Sirocom, a Virtual Network Operator,
has been re-appointed by Cadbury Schweppes to continue
providing the Siroconnect global roaming service and
to now integrate the managed home broadband solution.
The service will be utilised by its 2000 mobile workers
and in excess of 250 homeworkers.
The Siroconnect managed home broadband service will
supply Cadbury Schweppes’ employees with a high
performance, secure ADSL network. The service includes
the design, provisioning, installation, project management
and support for a complete home working solution. Siroconnect
provides the sales force with ubiquitous coverage allowing
them access to the corporate network from anywhere in
the world via a comprehensive range of connection media.
A Sirocom customer since 2002, Cadbury Schweppes has
already reaped the benefits of outsourcing managed services.
Chris Bond, Communications Manager at Cadbury Schweppes
explains; “Pre-Sirocom, we were using a direct
dial remote access service which was becoming increasingly
expensive and difficult to manage – but since signing
up to the Siroconnect service we have seen a 50% reduction
in our remote access costs.”
By implementing a managed ADSL broadband network for
home workers, Tim Gain, Sales and Marketing Director
for Sirocom, estimates that the upgraded service will
provide Cadbury Schweppes with even greater flexibility
and increased productivity:

that our remote workforce requires used to be a major
overhead, but now we can both administer users and access
billing online.

now able to offer our home workers the flexibility and
performance they need in order to achieve greater efficiency
and productivity.”
