9th February 2005 - Nokia and Jamba!, the leading internet
portal for mobile entertainment in Europe and part of
the VeriSign, Inc. family of companies, today announced
that Jamba! will be a key content provider through Nokia's
Preminet Solution, making its industry leading mobile
content available as part of the end-to-end content
distribution and transaction service for mobile network
operators worldwide.
Designed to streamline the distribution process for
innovative and certified mobile content and applications,
Preminet consists of the Preminet Master Catalog, Preminet
Service Delivery Platform and Preminet Purchasing Client,
an innovative software application that makes it easy
for end-users to discover, try and buy mobile software.
Mobile operators using the Preminet Purchasing Client

Preminet Master Catalog by allowing subscribers to browse,
download, and purchase over the air select Jamba! content.
The Jamba! content catalog of more than 50,000 titles
includes the latest ringtones, images, games, and community
services.
Jamba! will optimize its data feeds to be compatible
with the Preminet client and will also provide e-commerce
services, with various billing options supported by
the Preminet client.
"We're very pleased to be working with Nokia as
part of Preminet," said Oliver Samwer, CEO of the
Jamba! GmbH. "The integration of Jamba!'s extensive

developer support program, Preminet provides a flexible,
operator-brandable platform for launching new applications
and services to consumers, including a complete solution
