28th February 2005 - Vodafone has introduced a new,
state-of-the-art VoiceMail service for all its customers.
With Vodafone VoiceMail it is now possible to record
temporary messages, forward messages with personal comments,
or deliver one message to multiple voicemail boxes.
In future the Video Mailbox will also be a feature available
to all Vodafone customers, where they can leave behind
a video message. The renewed VoiceMail service fits
Vodafone's ambition to delight its customers with the
best and highest quality services on the market.
More features and future proof
The state-of-the-art Vodafone VoiceMail offers a number
of new features, like temporary welcome messages, when
on holiday for example, without having to replace the
existing one. Vodafone's business customers can forward
voicemail messages whilst adding personal comments or
directly leave a message with several mobile users without
having to call each individual number. Vodafone VoiceMail
has already been customised for future functionalities
such as Video Mailbox, which can be instantly incorporated
once introduced.
Migration process
All Vodafone customers in the Netherlands will be automatically
transferred to the new Vodafone VoiceMail in the coming
two months. Customers will receive a letter beforehand
and an SMS the day before the actual migration, inviting
them to experience the new features helping them to
enjoy richer communication. The costs of using Vodafone
VoiceMail remain the same.
