| 28th June 2005 - Connex and Raiffeisen Bank are pleased to
announce that they have reached ten thousand users of myBanking,
the service that allows Connex and Raiffeisen Bank clients to
access banking information on their mobile.
"We are very pleased to be leading the market in mobile
banking. This significant milestone shows the success of myBanking.
Two years ago, we made it possible for Connex and Raiffeisen
Bank clients to experience the real mobility benefits of mobile
banking services. Today, we are looking forward to further
growing this successful service and offering our customers
new advantages", said Ted Lattimore, President and COO
Connex.
"Raiffeisen Bank wanted to provide the customers with
an easy and quick access tool to the accounts opened with
us. The exceptional results and success registered by the
"myBanking" service prove that our strategy of offering
various options, various access channels (branch network,
fix or mobile telephone, POS terminals and ATMs) was well
received by our customers", stated Steven van Groningen,
President and CEO of Raiffeisen Bank.
Launched on July 30, 2003, myBanking is available to all
Connex customers, postpaid and users of Cartela Connex, who
have a Raiffeisen Bank account.
The service enables Connex users to pay their mobile telephony
bills or to recharge their pre-paid card credit through the
mobile phone, everywhere in the Connex network coverage area.
Clients can also make transfers, directly on the mobile phone,
between different Raiffeisen Bank accounts, and also between
their Raiffeisen account and other accounts of any other banks.
Both services are available for ROL transactions in the Connex
network coverage area, as well as when roaming.
myBanking users can also activate the ATM Finder and Bank
Finder services, useful for finding the nearest Raiffeisen
ATM or branch.
myBanking was awarded as "The most innovative ITandC

edition, an event organized under the patronage of the Romanian
Presidency.
