The stylish, slim line, Sony-Ericsson 3G M600 allows
for rapid, secure e-mail management. The telephone,
launched at the beginning of June 2006, has been developed
specifically for business users. To celebrate the launch
of the M600 and the new joint venture with SAS, Sony
Ericsson has pre-loaded the SAS Mobile Portal onto 50,000
telephones.
The passengers will be able to test the phones themselves
and will be able to see how efficiently they can work
on board the aircraft by using the latest technology,
the SAS Mobile Portal and Internet connection. On SAS
Mobile Portal, passengers can read the news, download
travel guides or check their EuroBonus points.

"This cooperation creates added value for both companies
through the activities being conducted on board. We look forward
to the possibility of more projects like this one with Sony
Ericsson in the future" comments Sophia Nybell, President
of SAS Business Opportunities.
"SAS is at the forefront of technological innovation
and we are delighted to be opening up a greater world of choice
to our business customer's whilst on board. The technology
of the Sony-Ericsson 3G M600 means that passengers need not
use their laptops on board to stay connected to the ground
whilst in flight. The Sony-Ericsson 3G M600 and the SAS Mobil
Portal deliver the world to the palm of our passenger's hands,"
Said Lars Ove-Filipson, SAS General Manager UK & Ireland.
