7th July 2006 - PacketVideo announced that a new handset
from Fujitsu Limited incorporates PacketVideo's new Universal
pvPlayer(TM) multimedia technology for the enjoyment of high-quality
mobile music.

Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of customer-focused
IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace,
has begun shipping the F902iS, the first NTT DoCoMo's
3G FOMA(TM) handset that supports Microsoft(R) Windows
Media Audio protected by Microsoft DRM technology. Using
the Universal pvPlayer that supports multiple file formats,
the F902iS will run three important media formats (3GPP,
i-motion(TM) and Windows Media), and two digital rights
management systems (WMDRM10 and SD binding DRM). Fujitsu
developed the handset for Japan's FOMA network, a 3G
service developed by NTT DoCoMo, Inc.
The F902iS uses PacketVideo's revolutionary new Universal
pvPlayer that enables multiple file formats to be played
by a single multimedia client solution. With PacketVideo's
Universal Player, the F902iS can play 3GPP, i-motion
and Microsoft Windows Media content. The phone supports
Microsoft MTP for phone-to-PC music file transferring
with Fujitsu's cooperation, and also supports the i-motion
player. The F902iS is the 14th FOMA handset from Fujitsu
that incorporates PacketVideo multimedia technology,
and is now available in Japan.
Takeshi Natsuno, Senior Vice President, Managing Director,
Multimedia Services of NTT DoCoMo, says "DoCoMo is looking
forward to providing the best quality mobile music services
to our customers. With the F902iS powered by PacketVideo's
cutting-edge Universal pvPlayer technology, we became
able to have the music formats people want, available

pvPlayer will enable Fujitsu to add new technology and features."
