| 7th October - T-Mobile has announced that its revolutionary
Flext tariff has signed up its one-millionth customer, just
seven months after it launched.
Flext is a flexible mobile tariff, allowing customers to
choose how they spend their monthly allowance. Unlike other
tariffs, it offers the customer an allowance measured in monetary
value - not in minutes and texts. The customer can use this
value however they see fit - on voice calling, text messaging,
picture messaging or voicemail retrieval.
Its sales success has beaten even the most optimistic T-Mobile
predictions and taken the mobile industry by storm, becoming
the fastest growing price plan in T-Mobile history. Further
evidence of the price plan's popularity is that nine out of
ten customers would recommend the service to friends and family.
Phil Chapman, T-Mobile director of marketing, said: "A
million Flext customers in seven months is a phenomenal achievement,
proving that mobile phone users realise good value when they
see it. Flext is an adaptable service that allows customers
real flexibility in the way they use their phone."

The flexibility to choose how to spend their monthly allowance,
on voice calls, text, picture messages and voicemail retrieval.
Weekly text message alert to be able to keep track of spending,
detailing their remaining allowance during the month and the
date of their next bill.
'Best Plan Check-Up' every six months to ensure customers
are still on the best price plan, meaning customers may be
able to decrease, as well as increase, their monthly mobile
spend.
If customers exceed their monthly allowance, run-on rates
will remain low (20p/min voice calls, 20p picture messages,
10p text messages and 10p voicemail retrieval in the UK).
Customers will receive best value, as the package value is
worth much more than what the customer spends every month.
