9th November 2006 - The Nokia N95, has been honored with
Popular Science magazine's 'Best of What's New' Award in the
publication's annual search for the top 100 technology innovations
of the year.

The N95 features an integrated
GPS, a 5 megapixel camera and digital music player. It
also includes a dual-slider facility, which allows users
to switch between different modes, from reading maps to
watching videos. Besides the numeric keypad the phone
also has a set of media keys that slide out from the opposite
direction that converts the display into landscape mode. |
"This Popular Science award is a tribute to Nokia Nseries
innovation and we are honored to be acknowledged for the second
year," said Nigel Rundstrom, Vice President, Multimedia,
Nokia America. "The Nokia N95 offers an array of multimedia
experiences with cutting-edge phone features that will be
coming to the North American market during 2007. The N95 delivers,
in a single package, what people need in today's mobile environmententertainment,
PDA functions and most importantly, connectivity."
The Nokia N95 is expected to start shipping in volumes during
the first quarter of 2007 at an estimated unsubsidized retail
price of 550 euros in European and Asian markets.
