4th December - LG has set a new standard in HSDPA handsets
with the launch of the 3G folder version of its award winning
Chocolate phone.
With HSDPA capabilities the fastest download speeds
currently on the market - the LG 3G Chocolate phone (U830)
is the perfect handset for those who want a next generation
handset with looks to match performance.
Featuring the same unique touch-sensitive technology and
chic styling as its cousin, the LG Chocolate phone, the U830
comes with 185MB of on-board memory, a 2 megapixel camera
and a fully featured MP3/AAC music player including stereo
Bluetooth for wireless music.
The 3G LG Chocolate phone is arguably the best looking
HSDPA handset on the market, says John Barton, Sales
& Marketing Director at LG Mobile UK. With the original
Chocolate phone selling more than four million units worldwide,
demand for a 3G version was inevitable. The updated folder
design looks sensational and is sure to appeal to 3G customers
looking for a handset that stands out from the crowd.
At just 14.8mm, the U830 is one of the slimmest 3G folders
on the market slipping easily into the tightest of pockets.
However, its slimline frame belies a host of 3G features including
a POP3 e-mail client that allows users to access e-mail from
popular web-based services such as Yahoos Mail, Googles
Gmail and Microsofts Hotmail.
Adds Barton: Mobile phones are becoming more and more
central to peoples lifestyles offering music, video,
photography, e-mail, diaries, web surfing and much more besides.
Like any valued possession, the look and feel is just as important
as the functionality and the LG 3G Chocolate folder ticks
both boxes.
The U830 comes in a presentation box with a pair of high
quality stereo headphones (3.5mm), two batteries and a USB
lead as standard. The LG U830 is exclusively available at
launch on 3.
