28th December - Pannon has made its mobile broadband (EDGE,
UMTS) services available to nearly 100% of Hungarys
population by December this year.
Higher data transfer rates increase the speed of mobile Internet,
multimedia and e-mail messaging, provide faster WAP access
to information, mobile videos, recorded and live television
programmes and downloadable music titles, and they also improve
services elevating corporate voice and data communication
to a new level.
The 3G network currently available in Budapest, its vicinity
and large regional cities (43 settlements in total) enables
videophone services offered free of charge in Pannons
network until end-January 2007.
The mobilszelessav.hu website of Pannon has won the Website
of the Year 2006 award. Its web designer Carnation and
Pannon were also granted an award in the brand site category
