25th May - T-Mobile has Started Migration to a Speed of 7.2
Mbps on its 3G/HSDPA Network.
By this, simultaneously with the constant expansion of geographical
coverage, the largest Hungarian mobile operator started the
acceleration of its broadband (3G/HSDPA) network. Currently
covering 27 towns and providing high quality broadband access
in the covered areas, the current downlink speed of 3.6 Mbps
of the 3G/HSDPA network can be gradually doubled this way.
This super-fast mobile Internet service is now available
from the operator and can be used with webnwalk
Net Card 3.6, which later on will be suitable for providing
a downlink speed of 7.2 Mbps by a software upgrade. Designed
for portable computers, this tool is available for a price
of 0 HUF with a commitment of 2 years for the subscription
and for Net 2000 tariff package. These net cards are included
in the discounted HP and Fujitsu Siemens notebook packages,
available on interest-free hire purchase with a down payment.
In addition, those T-Mobile customers who now subscribe to
a mobile Internet tariff package and accept the loyalty statement
will be able to surf the net at half price until the end of
this year.
