7th December - MOBIVOX is a pretty unique phone service. Think of it as a middle man who allows you to use your existing landline or mobile phone to connect to any other number in the world by using a local MOBIVOX phone number. You simply call the number and say who you want to call that is in your contact list and you are connected. You can also establish a call using a PC by entering your phone number and the phone number of the person you want to call. Your phone will then ring and connect you. The service allows free calling between MOBIVOX users, and it also allows you to make calls to your Skype buddies for free. Calls that aren’t free are charged at a low per minute rate.

MOBIVOX has now announced a way you can get more free calls by making friends and family MOBIVOX members. The service is called GiftVOX. Using the service, you can pre-register friends and family for the MOBIVOX service. Remember, people don’t even need a PC to use the service. The GiftVOX service launches today and can be located on the MOBIVOX website.
